i am the archivist of Shakedown Street here in Colorado. the band has been around for almost 25-6ish years now. they have gone through some line up changes but have always been a pleasure to catch if you are fiening for live dead http://archive.org/details/ShakedownStreet

There is a Shakedown in CT too...I am friends with a few of the band members (or more accurately their wives)...they have been around for about 26 years...I love the people that I've met and I love spinning. I don't get to go often but when I do I always leave with a smile on my face.

Being in many Dead cover bands over the years I cant say
anything. But I did catch Shakedown Street at Quixotes
a few times.
They fuckin rock imo. It was a night I will never remember,
I mean forget.
Still like Sancho's Broken Arrow the best though. Best juke
box in the country...
